The Role of AI Agents for De-Escalating Commitment in Digital Innovation Projects

When managers keep pouring resources into a failing project rather than cutting their losses, that's a bias called escalation of commitment. This paper proposes a study design using an AI advisor to help managers recognize and back away from doomed digital innovation projects, and lays out an experiment to test whether such AI assistance actually reduces the bias.
